Upcoming Conventions

The 61st MD201 Lions Clubs National Convention for Australia and PNG Canberra will be held in Canberra 25th April – 28th April 2013. Members of Lions Clubs and their partners or guests are invited to attend our National Convention. Details http://lionsclubs.org.au/conventions/

The next International Convention will be in Hamburg 2013 – Lions Clubs International 96th Annual Convention Hamburg, Germany 5 – 9th July 2013 http://lionsclubs.org.au/conventions/.

Sydney’s International Convention

Sydney was proud to host the 93rd Lions Clubs International Convention in 2010.

The 93rd Lions Clubs International Convention was held in Sydney, Australia from Monday, June 28 – Friday, July 2, 2010. The Lions of Australia were proud to host the first-ever Lions Clubs International Convention in Sydney.

The 93rd International Convention Parade of Nations was held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, in Sydney, Australia.

Step-off time was11:00 a.m and the parade ran from Hyde Park and down Macquarie Street to the Opera House.

District and International Conventions help to:

• Create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world.
• Unite the clubs in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship and mutual understanding.
