Congratulations to Lions Community Service Award recipients for 2011 Jessica Wang and Julia Dabrowski of Carlingford High School, Scott Jeanes of Epping Boys High School, Christopher Walsh of Normanhurst Boys High School, Morgan Simon of Mount St Benedict College and Rachel Power of Cheltenham Girls High School.
Each student received a certificate and book voucher and each school is a recipient of a perpetual trophy for the Lions Community Service Awards.
Lions Community Service Awards for local high schools is a program developed by Lions Club of Beecroft Cheltenham, in which perpetual trophies have been presented to participating schools by the club. The program aims to recognize outstanding community service by the youth of our community.
Each year, each school is asked to nominate the year’s recipients, who will receive a certificate and voucher at the school’s Presentation Ceremony.
