Christmas Activities 2009
In December 2009, our members helped bring Christmas Cheer to Beecroft, with Lions Christmas cakes, Santa coming to visit with his smile for the photos and with his writing hand primed to answer the letters from the children of Beecroft. Also, Santa’s elves made time to assist Beecroft’s younger generation (and the older ones if they liked) in Christmas tree decorations and gift making at their little craft workshops.
Santa Came to Beecroft for Photos!
Santa made Pre-Christmas visits to Beecroft Village Arcade on 12th and 19th December between 10am and 12pm.
Many children had their photo taken with santa and emailed to their parents at home, thank you for the donations we received.
Did you write a letter to Santa????
Santa’s mailbox was at Beecroft Village Arcade until December 19th. Children placed their letters in the mailbox and the Lions of Beecroft – Cheltenham helped to make sure it made it to the North Pole. Children were asked to please include their name and address so Santa’s elves could make sure the reply arrives before Christmas. The donations to the Lions Club of Beecroft – Cheltenham received were greatly appreciated.

Gingerbread House Making
An evening building and decorating Gingerbread Houses for Christmas was held on the 3rd of December 2009. Gingerbread house kits and a range of lollies and icing were on hand to create wonderful houses covered in lollies to take home for Christmas.
