Beecroft In Bloom

Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September 2009

Springtime was celebrated in Beecroft with the ‘Beecroft in Bloom’ Festival. The first Beecroft in Bloom was held in 2005.

Each year, the streets and arcades of the shopping precinct are lined with flowers and, this year there were tubs of beautiful tulips distributed around Beecroft.

The business houses of Beecroft also joined in the spirit of the Festival by sponsoring the day and also contributing to the market day feel and atmosphere on the Saturday.

Activities around Beecroft included Beecroft Public School Intermediate Concert Band, a fashion parade, the McCoy Family band, face painting, street theatre performers from McDonalds School of Performing Arts.
